Iwan Lloyd-Williams MICFor
Iwan is a Chartered Forester with over 20 years of experience in forestry and timber. As the owner of Iwan Meirion Consultancy, he offers forest management, timber sales, and safety consultancy services across the UK. His leadership roles include Director at DSHWOOD UK Limited and Head of Timber Purchasing at Clifford Jones Timber Group. Previously, he was Regional Harvesting Manager at UPM Tilhill, highlighting his expertise in harvesting and forest management.
Iwan volunteers extensively in the forestry sector, serving as Chair of Confor’s Wales Committee, Assistant Honorary Director of Forestry at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, and a member of Natural Resources Wales' Regional Advisory Committee. He has been key in securing funding for woodland creation in Wales and improving public forest management. Iwan is also a trustee for the DPJ Foundation, promoting mental health in rural Wales, and Chair of the WalesYFC Finance and Management Committee, overseeing governance changes in the federation. His leadership reflects his commitment to forestry and community.
